Nursery Teaching Assistant

We have expanded our nursery school and so have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Assistant to join our wonderful team.  

This permanent position is suited to a confident and enthusiastic individual with or without childcare experience. Maybe you are looking for a change of career and want a role in Early Years with opportunities to gain hands on experience and undertake further qualifications, or perhaps you have years of experience and want to work in one of the top nurseries in St Albans.

Based at either our Kinder Lodge or Sandpit House site, you will work closely with the staff team to support the children’s learning and development.

To the successful candidate we can offer:

• Term Time or full year contract.
• 5 days per week
• 40 hours per week (full time)/20 hours per week (part time)
• Salary: Negotiable

Early Years Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Apprentice to join our wonderful team.

This permanent position is well suited to a school leaver that is looking to begin a career in Early Years, gaining hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace as well as working towards nationally recognised qualifications. 

Based at either our Kinder Lodge or Sandpit House site, you will work closely with the staff team to support the children’s learning and development.

Our comprehensive Apprenticeship Programme is structured to give you hands on experience within the setting alongside gaining your Level 3 in Childcare.  Each apprentice is supported by an experienced and dedicated mentor within the setting and you will benefit from regular training sessions with our specialist training provider.  As most of our other employees have undergone similar qualifications there is a huge amount of support within the setting. At the end of an apprenticeship, there are excellent career prospects, and ability to further develop.
